Just two months after successfully linking Polillo Island to Metro Manila, Calauag-based Raymond Transportation is set to expand its presence in Northern Quezon.

An employee from Raymond Transportation Inc. has confirmed through Facebook post that the company will begin offering new trips starting April 19, 2025. The routes will include Burdeos, Quezon (Polillo Island) to Lucena City, finally connecting the island to the provincial capital.

In addition, the company will launch trips from its Infanta, Quezon terminal to Lucena City—a route previously dominated by Tayabas-based FOC Transportation, which recently ceased operations following an employee strike.

With the addition of the Lucena–Polillo and Infanta–Lucena routes, Raymond Transportation further solidifies its dominance in North Quezon. Whether you’re coming from Metro Manila or South Luzon, Polillo Island is now more accessible than ever. And with no other bus operators currently serving these routes, the company has effectively established a monopoly in the area.

Raymond Transportation has yet to announce the bus schedules and classes for the two new routes.
